Whether additional birth care is reimbursed (such as a pelvic physiotherapist or lactation consultant) depends on your additional insurance. It may pay off to check this before your pregnancy so that you can take out additional insurance. For some obstetric care, a claim is made at your own risk, or there is a personal contribution.
