When you need to call us right away
- Blood loss
- Abdominal pain, Braxton Hicks/cramps with regularity
- After a fall/impact on your stomach
- Feeling fewer child movements from 26 weeks
- Headache, seeing stars, nausea/vomiting, upper abdominal pain, pain between shoulder blades, acute fluid retention
- Contractions or loss of amniotic fluid before 37 weeks of pregnancy
You call us when you think the delivery has started. Even when in doubt. You can always reach out for consultation and advice.
- Regular contractions every 3-5 minutes for an hour
- Broken waters
- In case of contractions or loss of amniotic fluid before 37 weeks
- With ample, bright red blood loss or clots
- When your waters break and the head has not yet descended
- When the amniotic fluid is yellow/green/brown. Amniotic fluid is usually clear in color / light pink, sometimes with white flakes. Amniotic fluid smells sweet.
