Weekoverzicht SOPH9298web

When you know you're pregnant, one of the first questions is: when am I due?

The due date is only a guideline. Actually, it is better to speak of a calculated period. It is entirely normal to give birth between 37 and 42 weeks. Did you know that only 1 in 25 children (3-4%) is born on their due date? Most children are born between 40 and 41 weeks.

You can use an online calculator to get an idea of your due date. This is usually based on a regular 4-week cycle without contraception.

Such a calculator only gives an indication. We determine the final due date by making a term ultrasound between 10-11 weeks of your pregnancy.
